Our Wooden Bunk Bed, not only have we made sure that our chunky bunk beds meet all the correct health and safety regulations required by law but we also designed them to dismantle in a way that creates two proper single beds with headboards and footboards of different sizes. This means that these rustic wooden bunk beds can split up and go into separate rooms when the time comes and they can even take the beds with them to their student digs if they go to Uni or get their own flat.  Nobody will know that it used to be their childhood wooden bunk bed!! For your chosen piece of furniture to fit the space you intend, please allow an additional 12mm on all external sizes given. Finish : Fiddes Stripped Pine Furniture Wax

Build quality: Handmade by Ashton And Coleman using 4″ solid section European oak for the bed posts. Glued and dowelled 3/4 inch mortice and tenon joints fix the headboard planks to the posts. Extremely strong 3/4 inch mortice and tenons connect the side rails to the posts. Solid metal brackets are screwed to the side rails and the posts to keep the mortice and tenon’s together and also allow them to come apart for delivery. But don’t worry, you can take these beds apart and put them back together extremely easily and over and over again without losing the quality or strength of the bed.

The Bunk Bed is able to be separated into two proper single beds that have a taller headboard than footboard. The ladder and safety rails are also removable. 

Bed Slats: 27mm x 145mm Scandinavian redwood (Extremely Strong).

Space Under Side Rails: 20cm

Posts: 9.5cm x 9.5cm

Side rails size: 3.8cm x 20cm with additional timber slat support.

Delivery details : 2 x headboards, 2 x footboards, 4 x side rails, 1 x ladder, 2 x safety rails. Delivered either by Ashton And Coleman or 3rd party courier.

To Comply With Safety Standards a mattress no thicker than 6 inches must be used on the top bunk when used as a bunkbed.
