Our Bowback Dining Chairs are sold in pairs. Made with beech which is a great hardwood for making dining chairs with (it’s available in oak too if you prefer). Beech sands beautifully and looks great when waxed with our furniture wax to match up with our mill sawn pine range of solid wood dining tables. Our hardwood wooden dining chairs are made in Europe, which is important to say as the majority of wooden chairs you may find in high street stores will have been made in China. The difference is massive. Eastern Europe developed a fantastic heritage of woodworking post ww2, we think due to many of the older factory machinery we Brits were selling off got sold to eastern Europe. So we think they picked up where we left off. Its why our British supplier tell us to make sure we tell our customers that our wooden chairs are commercial grade not domestic grade.
