The Chesterfield Sofa : Leather

Invented in the 1700’s by the Earl of Chesterfield just over the hill from our workshop. Its a little different today as the original would have been stuffed with horse hair and we use super squishy fibres for the cushion fillings. The frame is made in a traditional way with glued, screwed and dowelled hardwood. Designed and built to last a lifetime, our real leather sofas are nothing like the high street offerings from a quality point of view. The leathers we use are full grained super soft, warm and characterful. Each hide used is completely unique showing original scars, marks and detail you can’t compare.
