The Plank Bench : Re Sawn Oak

This Oak Plank Bench is perfect if you’re looking for a dining bench that will look great and last forever, look no further. Our solid oak bench can be used in a number of places around the home. Made using solid kiln-dried European oak by skilled furniture makers in our Derbyshire workshop. All legs and rails are fitted together with traditional, glued, mortice and tenon joints that are dowelled through for extra strength. The tops are made from random-width boards of thirty-five millimetre thick kiln-dried European oak and fitted to the base with traditional wooden buttons designed to allow the bench to acclimatise effectively throughout the seasons. The bench is then finished with white wax oil from Fiddes that keeps the oak looking a more natural colour.
