Build quality: Handmade by Ashton And Coleman using 3″ solid section European oak for the bed posts. Glued and dowelled 3/4 inch mortice and tenon joints fix the headboard rails to the posts with a floating solid Quebec pine panel made from 3/4 inch planks grooved into the posts and rails. Extremely strong 3/4 inch mortice and tenons connect the side rails to the posts. Solid metal brackets are screwed to the side rails and the posts to keep the mortice and tenon’s together and also allow them to come apart for delivery. But don’t worry, you can take these beds apart and put them back together extremely easily and over and over again without losing the quality or strength of the bed.
