Ashton & Coleman started with a joint passion for making handmade furniture. In late 2014 Simon and Pete were talking in their workshop (and drinking tea) about the potential for putting their skills as bespoke joiners together to form a brand of furniture that focusses heavily on quality manufacturing, simple classic design and sustainability. A company that celebrates the craft of making solid wood furniture, the job satisfaction of the furniture maker and the pleasure of owning handcrafted furniture for the customer. The heart of their business is still very much in the workshop. Being furniture makers first allows them to understand what is best for their customers.
