A Legacy in Every Grain: The Story of British Craftsmanship in Ashton & Coleman’s Bedroom Collections

We want all our customers to like a part of the Ashton & Coleman family, we want to take you on a journey through the heart of our craftsmanship. It’s a story that begins in the lush, green landscapes of Derbyshire, where each piece of our bedroom furniture starts its life.

The Heart of Our Bedroom Collection: Sourcing Quality Timber

For us, the story of each piece of bedroom furniture begins with a simple seed, a sapling growing somewhere will one day become a piece of treasured furniture. We choose the finest oak and pine, not just for their beauty and strength but because we believe in the importance of supporting our local forests and their sustainable future.

Once our timber is selected, we bring it to our workshop, where the transformation truly begins. It’s here that raw wood is turned into the beds and furniture that fill your rooms. We use age-old techniques, ensuring every piece is robust enough to stand the test of time.

The Hands Behind the Woodwork

Every bed, every wardrobe and every chest of drawers that we create is as unique as the homes they go to. We tailor sizes, styles, and finishes to meet your dreams. It’s this personal touch that makes our work not just a product but a part of your life.

A Bedroom Collection with a Story

Our bedroom collections are inspired by the heritage around us, by the feeling that country living gives us. When you choose from our collections, you’re not just choosing furniture; you’re choosing a piece of culture, something that reflects our way of life and our personal identity.

Why Handcrafted Matters: The Ashton & Coleman Philosophy

In a world where so much is made in an instant, we take a different approach. We believe in furniture that has a soul, in pieces that tell a story and become more cherished as they age. We believe this philosophy makes all the difference in your home.

Bringing Derbyshire to Your Home

Imagine our bedroom furniture in your home – the warmth of the wood, the assurance of quality. Whether your home is modern or traditional, our pieces can be the centrepiece that brings your interior design together.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having had Indigo furniture in the past, that was heavy, good quality furniture, I was mildly apprehensive about what I would be getting 15 years later from another company over the phone.
The quality is in fact better and the finish is of a higher standard and the old irritations have been rectified. I had a bespoke triple wardrobe made that is superb.
Rest assured it's the same but better!- Look no further!
