Ashton & Coleman Rock Chatsworth Country Fair

September 26, 2023

Our very first appearance at Chatsworth Country Fair was a roaring success with lots of interested customers coming through the door at our Marquee. The whole team put in a huge effort in preparation for the show. Our motive was simple. We wanted to show the quality, character and style of our solid wood handmade furniture to as many customers as possible.

The Ashton & Coleman Brand

Creating brand awareness is as much of a priority to us as the quality of our craftsmanship. We took a range of our handmade plank beds and rustic bedroom furniture with a selection of our Smeaton brothers‘ natural pocket-sprung mattresses.

Our best-selling farmhouse dining tables and chairs with handmade wooden benches were on display with a selection of handmade chests of drawers and rustic sideboards. We also made sure we took enough small items such as wooden stools, single cube storage units an array of oak chopping boards and animal door stops.

A Great Family Day out in Derbyshire

The show was a great success, we met and spoke to a huge amount of new customers and a bunch of past customers who loved seeing us at the show (and being offered a free coffee!). When we got a chance to break free from our stand we took it in turns to have a wander around the show. There was a massive amount of activities for all the family, amazing entertainment, exhibitions, food, drinks and a myriad of shops, stands and stalls showing just how great the arts, crafts and businesses of Derbyshire and further afield really are.

The sun was shining, the parachute exhibition team looked incredible, the dancing diggers were great and the mounted games drew a massive crowd. All in all, we had a great Chatsworth show, our families who came as guests all said they had an incredible time. We reckon you might see us at Chatsworth Country Fair 2024.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having had Indigo furniture in the past, that was heavy, good quality furniture, I was mildly apprehensive about what I would be getting 15 years later from another company over the phone.
The quality is in fact better and the finish is of a higher standard and the old irritations have been rectified. I had a bespoke triple wardrobe made that is superb.
Rest assured it's the same but better!- Look no further!
